but alas, i have to catch a bus at 1 AM to get to granada at a mere 6 AM. even if i slept literally the entire time, it would not be enough. but i am touring the alhambra at 9, so ill get there, down some coffee, see pretty things, and nap. YES.

i met the guy who works at the 24 hour store!!
he was so nice. i couldnt figure out my money because i had no cash, so he helped me count all the change and made sure i counted with him so i knew he didnt rip me off, and then we got to chatting in spanish about spain and my semester and stuff and it was so GREAT. so now i have a kewl spanish man to speak spanish to. and im sure ill be at that store quite often. i get hungry at the worst...
so heres the thing about my astronomy class
the professor is a genius. a legitimate genius. hes so smart that he has incredibly underdeveloped social skills. he will also flaunt his genius and kind of make you feel like an idiot, but he warns you before he does it.
last week we had 2 presentations in class, the first 2 for the semester, and he tore. them. apart. it was funny, yet terrifying. he said he would go easy on them grade-wise...
